NarrativE Architecture
We love Architecture as being a large scale expressions of narrative design. That is how we approach Narrative Architecture. Not only as a collection of functions and an urban context, but from an Experience and Storytelling point of view. What is the message that needs to be told by it’s Presence and Gestalt. How can we enhance Architecture and its manifestation.

Narrative Architecture is most often seen as part of Leisure and Destination design, where place is connected to a story and with that becomes meaningful or full of meaning and message. But certainly Brands also use Architectural expression as Key Message to their public.

Pavilions are a sweetspot of ours. Not only at World Expo but also outside that realm they form a category of temporary Architecture in themselves.
Whether as a Brand Home, designed to encapsulate the personality, ethos, and spirit of a company, or an Art Installation, stirring emotions and thoughts through artistically defined spaces, pavilions showcase the wide spectrum of designs and purposes they can serve. Similarly, they can be manifested in the form of temporary exhibitions that provide an exclusive platform to share knowledge, evoke curiosity, and deliver breakthrough creativity.
The architecture of these pavilions is not simply about creating a visual spectacle, but it's an integral component of a much larger, more encompassing narrative. Each element of the pavilion, from its layout and shapes to the materials and colors used, but also media compontents integrated, all serve to bolster and enhance the story to be conveyed. And while they may seem to merely be temporary structures, they, in fact, deliver lasting impressions and experiences. For us they embody a precise mixture of architectural brilliance and exceptional storytelling.

Sculptural façade design and media-enhanced architectural façades are compelling instances of how far we go to elevate Architecture to iconic levels. The main instrument of this elevation is through the modification and dynamic utilization of its outer skin - creating the first impression, setting the tone for the experience within, and intriguing and inspiring spectators.
These design elements transform the overall building structure into a captivating piece of art, setting it apart from conventional architectures. Structures are not merely infrastructural entities occupying physical spaces; they become larger-than-life canvasses embodying stories, ideals, and messages.
In the instance of sculptural façade design, we utilize various materials, structures and forms to mold an outer skin that is both aesthetically pleasing and intellectually engaging. It blends both creative intuition and technological innovation to create architectural masterpieces that delight, surprise, and challenge the observer.
Media-enhanced architectural façades, on the other hand, take the expressiveness of a building to an entirely new realm. The freedom a media façade offers opens new horizons of inspiration and possibilities of expression, an interaction of light, color, and motion that captivates audiences. This provides a dynamic, ever-transformative façade that can adapt and respond, creating a truly immersive architectural experience.
However, the power of a media façade lies not only in the technology but also in the content it displays. The content determines the message, the mood and even the overall success of the façade. This is precisely why EPG does not limit itself to creating a platform. We see it as our duty to embrace, or even extend ourselves into content creation. We strategically develop and curate content that amplifies the architectural narrative, enhances aesthetic beauty, and engages audiences effectively.
In conclusion, by pushing the boundaries of façade design, from sculptural to media-enhanced features, EPG not only transforms architecture into iconic landmarks but also crafts narrative, emotion-rich experiences for all who observe and interact with them.

The Architecture we love is one that holds purpose and meaning, but also considers legacy. Their mostly temporary nature requires out of the box thinking of solutions and especially with regards to legacy, sustainability and materialisation there is a responsibility to take. EPGs design process incorporates design thinking towards these relevant issues.
